Driving directions
The practice is located in Barns Street in Ayr Town Centre.
- From Glasgow and the North: whether coming from A78 or M77/A77, follow the sign for Ayr. At the Whitletts Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto High road A719 towards Ayr/Town Centre. Carry straight on through 3 sets of traffic lights until you reach a roundabout – take 2nd exit and turn left at the next sets of lights onto Main St. Carry on over the bridge and enter ‘The Sandgate’ for 300 yards. Straight through at the next roundabout and then left at the traffic lights. Welcome to Barns Street!
- From Stranraer and the South: Stay on the A77 until you come to the Holmston Roundabout and take the first exit to Ayr A70. Carry on for 1 mile until you enter the double-roundabout – take the 1st exit at the first roundabout, and the 2nd exit at the 2nd roundabout. At the lights turn right then take left into Miller Road. Take right at the next lights and then right again at the next set of lights. Welcome to Barns Street!

By train
Ayr train station is 300 yards from the practice. Trains arrive from Glasgow and Stranraer. Timetables are available from ScotRail website.
By foot, leave the station by the main gate and head west with the cinema on your left. Cross the road at the ‘Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel’ and enter Dalblair Road. Follow the road as it turns right until you come to the roundabout at the Mercure Hotel. You are now at the top of Barns Street. Turn left and the practice is on your left.
